How to paint "half" an apartment, professionally.

Sometimes, you don't have to paint your entire apartment in order to rent it out or sell it. If the walls are in good shape, you can save time & money - and get away with "half" a painting. Here is how to do it:

1) Focus on exterior surfaces. Skip painting the interior of closets and other areas that are less visible or with less lighting.

2) Stick to white paint. White or off-white paints can be more easily touched up, unlike most dark colors. Also, your tenant or buyer will be better able to visualize themselves in your apartment when the walls are all white and not a specific color.

3) Definitely paint the shoe-moldings. They are very noticeable and often have scuffs & dirt on them from shoes / kids / pets & more.

Floor buffing & refinishing. How does it work?

Sanding your floors normally gets rid of old scratches & stains. But, if your floors are not in horrible shape & could use a fresh, clean look - buffing is a quicker & cheaper alternative.

How it works:

Our dedicated buffing machines remove your floors old poly finish & go a tiny bit into the floors - much less than a sanding and creates a lot less dust. This can remove some very light scratches & debris build-up. We can then apply X2 coats of new, clear poly finish for a super clean & refreshed look. It will be the first thing people will notice about your apartment.

Why you should 100% do it while your apartment is vacant:

Refinishing your floors doesn't only look great, it further protects your floors against future scratches / spills  & stains with the newly applied poly finish.

You can selected how glossy or non-glossy you like your floors to be (Satin / semi-gloss / glossy / etc.)

The cost & time are about 1/3 of sanding the floors, so it is a great, cost-effective solution.
